Thinkin' About You!

Its hard to think about what I'm going to do or say when I ask you to homecoming.
I found this little card at Walmart with weird bunnies on it, but on the front it said
"I'm Thinkin' About You!"

I laugh to myself, I am thinkin' about you...
In fact, I'm thinkin' about you just like all these cards think about being cheesy
Just like a spinny-hug thinks about being queasy

And like a teenager thinks about catching those free Z's

Heck girl I'm thinkin' about you like ukuleles think about beaches
Like tastebuds think about those sweet Macana peaches
And just like women think about going back to Venus

Girl, I tell ya, I'm thinkin' about you so much I don't know what to do
I'm thinkin' I'm maybe thinkin' about falling in love with you
I really hope your thinkin' about me too

  1. "Peaches come from a can,
they were put there by a man
    In a factory downtown
If I had my little way,
    I'd eat peaches every day
    Sun-soakin' bulges in the shade"

Your line about Macana Peaches reminded me of this song.

    Look it up. Do it.

  2. Thank you for giving this post a CONTEXT. Remember when I asked the class to do this? I do.

Such a great idea. You made it personal, relevant to you. My favorite line is the ukeleles one.

    Good job.
